Should I Take Roulette More Seriously?
Published on November 26th, 2005, 3:30 pm ESTRoulette has the potential to be a very profitable game. The question you need to ask yourself when you are driving out to the casino is, am I just going to have fun and probably lose the money I am playing with, or am I going to be serious and try to make some money?
If you are going to be serious, you should probably try to find a roulette table that doesn't have a big crowd. Having a big crowd around you will tempt you into rolling up your stakes higher and higher until eventually you lose, which will eventually happen. If you are playing by yourself, it is much easier to practise strong bankroll management, and not foolishly increase your bets just because the crowd is egging you on.
If you are doing well and a crowd does start to form, simply excuse yourself and say that you are going to the bathroom, and wait for the crowd to disperse. Maybe play blackjack for a while or try some texas hold'em. If the crowds are just too big, head home and play at an online casino, where you are guaranteed not to have a crowd.
