Stake F1 Team To Launch on February 5th
Published on January 5th, 2024 6:34 pm ESTEarlier this week, Stake.com and Sauber announced that they will be racing in Formula 1 as the "Stake F1 Team" in 2024 and 2025.
Audi recently acquired a minority stake in Sauber, and Audi and Sauber have an agreement that will see the two companies tying up in F1 from 2026 onwards.
Until then - it's the Stake F1 Team, as Stake is the lead sponsor.
-
The team will have Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou driving for them in 2024, and their new car, the Sauber C44, will be launching in February.
-
Kick.com, which is owned by the same people as Stake.com, has acquired the chassie naming rights.
-
In addition to their entry into Formula 1, Stake.com also serves as the main partner of English Premier League club Everton and as the official betting partner of the UFC.
Some of their other sponsorships include:
Drake (performer)
Israel Adesanya (UFC Fighter)
Brazil Rugby League
-
Stake has been very aggressive in inking partnership deals, and this work seems to be paying off, as Stake.com is one of the largest online betting sites in the world. has been ramping up in popularity as of late, and Stake.com deciding to increase their involvement in the sport is very likely a shrewd move.
