Do You Have To Dress a Certain Way To Go To a Casino?
Published on April 2nd, 2024 5:57 pm ESTDo casinos have dress codes?
This is one of the most common questions that I hear.
The answer to this question is that no, casinos don't have dress codes, aside from requesting that you wear a shirt and shoes. You can't walk in shirtless and shoeless, but casinos won't have a problem if you are dressed properly.
This means that you can wear shorts and a T-shirt in a casino.
This means that you can wear jeans and a hat in a casino.
Nobody will bother you - after all, casinos want your business, and they certainly aren't going to turn away casually dressed people that might be on a vacation. Nobody wants to wear a suit or fancy dress with heels when they go to a casino.
There are, however, some RESTAURANTS inside of a casino that might require you to adhere to a dress code.
For instance, a fancy steakhouse might require that you wear a tie.
A golf course on a casino property might require you to wear proper pants with a collared shirt.
An indoor tennis club at a casino might require that you wear all white when you are playing.

In terms of heading through the front doors of the casino and sitting down at a table or slot machine, no casino will turn you away, unless you are inappropriately dressed (no shirt, etc).
Have fun at the casino, and dress comfortably!
